Time being – a live music event

World-class improvisational double bill featuring
Harold Budd and The Necks.
Capestone Theatre, Liverpool. Monday 21st November and Howard Assembly Room, Leeds, Friday 25th November - £15.

Don’t miss this opportunity for fans of new and experimental music. Catch two of the biggest names in improvised music in Liverpool and Leeds as Harold Budd and The Necks perform live at the Capestone Theatre and the Howard Assembly Room. Both artists have worked extensively with Brian Eno and these shows are part of their first, joint UK tour.

Known as one of the 'founding fathers' of ambient music, Harold Budd grew up in the Mojave desert and has worked with artists as diverse as the Cocteau Twins and and Jah Wobble. Cult Australian trio The Necks have been described by the Guardian as ‘one of the most extraordinary groups on the planet… a revolutionary consortium redefining music’. They make long-form mesmerising pieces and showcase 16th album Mindset as part of this performance.

Performance includes inspiring visuals by fellow Eno collaborator, Russell Mills while Harold Budd will be joined on stage by the esteemed bassist and electronic musician, Werner Dafeldecker.
