» Show / Hide Programme Content and Structure
The Executive MBA programme is designed for aspiring managers with at least three years management experience, mid-career specialists wishing to move into general management positions and senior managers who wish to refresh and hone their management knowledge and skills. Tuition is provided in four-day blocks delivered five times per year (February, March, May, October and December). Each block focuses on a different element of the MBA syllabus, from international business management and innovation to strategic implementation, finance, marketing and operations management.
Forming a strategic view involves getting to grips with both the internal and external realities and uncertainties of an organisation’s situation. To meet this objective our MBA programmes aim to develop conceptual frameworks for thinking about business. The aims of the programme are not simply to provide knowledge and skills that will assist in the analysis of situations in a disciplined way, but to enhance managerial judgement by helping to modify or reinforce what has been learnt and is currently being learnt from the day to day work experience.
The Executive MBA is a general business and management programme but emphasis is placed upon globalisation, innovation and managing change. These three themes permeate all core modules as well as the Strategic Management ‘double’ module.
