Who needs a big load of junk mail through your letterbox when you can get it just by opening your Outlook?
The Confidential doormat has been strangely free of paper these past five days, owing to the pesky postal strike.
It's not that we would particularly notice in our crazy, electronic day-to-day haze, but we appreciate it's a bummer for most.
Today, however, the postal strike is working in your favour, Why? Because in case you hadn't registered for the 08 Ballot, you've got another chance.
No we're not talking about the general election that never was. Due to a national strike of Royal Mail postal workers, the original October 7 deadline to register for tickets to eight major shows in Liverpool 08, has now been extended to Sunday October 14.
That's Macca at Anfield, Ringo in the arena, Simon Rattle and the Berliner Philharmoniker and more.
Registration forms can be collected at the 08 place, all city council libraries, One Stop Shops and lifestyle gyms. Or, if you're reading this, just do it online.
That's deadline for Liverpool 08 Ballot extended. You know it makes sense.
