CCTV stills have been released of two men police say they want to speak to following the assault and robbery of a man in Liverpool city centre.
A 19-year-old man was walking along Fleet Street at around 3am on Saturday Sept 14 when two males, approached him claiming to be Spanish.
They struck up a conversation with him. However, s short time later the 19-year-old was walking along Church Alley when the pair jumped on him and held his arms whilst they searched his pockets. The offenders made off with his Samsung Galaxy mobile phone.
Although not seriously injured the victim has been left shaken following his ordeal.
Officers believe the two men pictured may have information that could assist their enquiries and they would urge them or anyone who recognises them to contact the police.
