JASMINE Barnett is dressed only in leaves outside Joey Barton's favourite McDonald's to remind everyone of the sins of the flesh. Flesh eating that is.
And as cunning stunts go, this one, by animal rights campaigners PETA, was a Wednesday morning crowd-stopper.
The action – days before the start of World Vegan Month in November – was set up to encourage passers-by to take a 30-day pledge to go vegan.
Lying on a giant plate – complete with a knife and fork, a side salad and a serving of BBQ sauce – beneath a banner that reads, "Try to Relate to Who's on Your Plate – Go Vegan", the 25-year-old from Crosby was dished up in Liverpool city centre on Wednesday morning.
“All animals are made of the same flesh, blood and bone, so when it comes to suffering, there is no difference between a cow, a chicken, a dog and any other animal.” she said.
Jasmine was plucked for the role after entering a PETA competition to find the sexiest vegan, last year.
She said: “Chickens aren't nuggets, and pigs aren't pork chops – they're intelligent beings who deserve respect."

Was she in a bus lane?
No, a bust lane
She was only the weatherman's daughter, but she always enjoyed a drizzle
I held a similar demonstration by a Matt's Pure Hotdog stand some years ago. Even though it was a cold day and it barely filled the bun, I still got bound over for 6 months.
I think John it was for the action of it not the PR, knowing her personally and knowing that she works in a health food shop her family own providing a lot of vegan products alongside the usual supplements etc. she is both passionate on the subject and knowledgable x
Just virtually inarticulate.
Her comments are perfectly articulate.
Not unless think slogans are the hight or articulation.
Stop trolling Bradley. Surely there are some trains that need pictures taking of, for WikiCommons
One of the signatures of trolling is hiding behind anonymity.
Ironically
ten out of ten for articulation, but "the hight" rquires more work. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
I wouldn't mind inviting Jasmine to tea. She's as fit as a butchers dog.
