Search for schoolgirls missing since New Year's Eve

POLICE have launched a search for two schoolgirls who have been mising from home since New Year's Eve.

Courtney Walker, 15, from Stockbridge Village and Mia Saltmarsh, 13, from Dingle, were last seen together at the Tesco’s store on Park Road, L8, at around 5.30 pm on Wednesday December 31.

Courtney (pictured below) is described as white, approximately 4 ft. 10 inches tall of slim build, a pale complexion and long dyed red hair. She was wearing black leggings, a black coat and black wellingtons.

Mia (pictured above) is described as white, around 5 ft 3 inches tall, slim build and has dark straight shoulder length brown hair and was wearing a white top, blue and white jeans, white trainers and a black coat with a fur collar.

They are both known to frequent the Chatsworth Park and Lodge Lane areas of Toxteth and the McDonald’s in Liverpool city centre.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned about their whereabouts and would urge anyone who knows where Courtney and Mia are to contact Merseyside Police on 0151 777 5337, the police on the non-emergency number, 101 or the Missing People Charity on 116 000.
