A disaster. More nostalgic whingeing about the good old days and how Maggie screwed us. Gordon is a nightmare. Shaft him
Good riddance too.
St Michael's Underpants
I just hope Mr Sanderson and the Labour group have plenty of grit for the next big freeze, I can't see that Louisiana Bergerac clearing the ice off the pavements on Allerton Road for the photographers like that nice Mr Colin Oldfridge.
At last, I vowed I would never vote Labour locally again after the eighties. However I succumbed even though I thought it a wasted vote. I don't want to cycle to work. Just shows you, power to the people !
So Warren has been kicked out. Not just of the Town Hall either...
Well you remember when Hurst was caught shoving something pink into somebody else's letterbox? Well this is completely different.
What is it about firemen larking about in Liverpool politics? I hear that Derek Hatton was a fireman too
"Is that your hose spurting, or are you just pleased to see me?"
Good result for Liverpool! LD lose the council, and Eldridge's massive (and hugely expensive) onslaught in Wavertree results in a bigger Labour majority! I wonder if the sheer scale of the LD campaign (I had guff from them around 4 times a week) got on people's nerves and backfired on them? I like to think so.
What on earth is this about?
Sliding on the personal Poll
the lib dems won't like it in the cold
Well done to Labour in Liverpool, very nice to see commonsense in the north west unlike the god forsaken pathetic south.I like that picture of a polling station with the words "please don't sit on the fence" like a dig at the Liberals.
St Michael's in the helmet
Poor Mr Eldridge, he had already been deserted by his party by noon yesterday. There he was in Asda carpark pushing a trolley full of snacks and crisps for his celebration party. He might be selling them off if anyones interested although I'll bet young Tom his agent who now has his council seat stuffed his face with them.Poor chap.
