The new Liverpool kit for next season, to be used between 2010 and 2012, was unveiled yesterday.
The all red strip is, according to makers Adidas, aimed to convey the pride and passion the fans have for the Liverpool red.
Liverpoolfc.tv says: 'The adidas strip represents a modern interpretation of the one worn during the triumphant 1989-90 campaign, in which the Reds won title number 18.'
The new strip ends a 17 year association with Carlsberg as sponsors in a deal worth £80 million to the club over four years. It is emblazoned with the logo 'Standard Chartered' - a global bank whose somewhat fitting tagline is 'Restoring trust and supporting recovery'.

It is a horrible kit, but they are not the best models. They all look like they have been doing something naughty and the door has just opened unexpectedly.
'Modern interpretaton'? It looks more like 1889-90! Where are the top hats and ear trumpets?
Bloody horrible. Missing Carlsberg already.
