Wonderpants for men

Simon Binns, to fill in: as M&S launches frontal enhancing, bum lifting pants

Written by . Published on October 21st 2010.

Wonderpants for men

NOW here’s a stocking filler for men everywhere this year.

M&S has launched a range of much anticipated (and much ridiculed) underwear for men. The M&S Bodymax range consists of two styles; a bum lift pant (£15) and a frontal enhancement pant (£10).

Dave Binns, head of buying for men’s underwear at M&S, said: “Since we announced we were launching the Bodymax pants range we've had a fantastic response with dozens of people on the waiting list, and enquiries coming in from as far as Australia. Our M&S Facebook page has also been inundated with over 750 comments posted. We are delighted to launch them in store today and expect them to sell quickly”.

Facebook comments so far all seem to be following a similar giggly theme.

M&S Bodymax Pants

Suzi Callow typed: ‘I would love to hear from a guy - any guy - who would actually wear these!!!!’

Look no further Suzi. While many M&S shoppers have been having a good old laugh at the frontal’s expense, here at Confidential we believe in a fair trial.

We are therefore pleased to announce that Confidential’s news editor, Simon Binns (no relation to the M&S head of buying Dave Binns, we might add) has put his crotch forward to test this new range. Binns and his bits will be putting the frontal enhancing pants through their paces in the coming weeks. Watch this space for his honest verdict.

No real man would ever need or wear such a piece of apparatus.
Surely these crotch enhancing pants are just adding to the myth that size matters. OK, so size does matter, but wearing these pants is misleading to the lady (or man) that you are trying to impress. If the pants have the desired effect it will only lead to disappointment for the beholder. It's rather like copping-off with a girl with amazing breasts, only to find that voluptuousness has come off in the bra. Then you're left feeling deflated.

£15 per "pant"? So that's £30 per pair of underpants!

M&S is very pricy!

It's the extra packaging

Is that Nick Clegg in the bottom picture, trying to mislead the electorate again?

I wonder what the typical slack-bellied, slouching middle-aged man would look like in the bumlift style. Surely it would've been much easier to find an ordinary bloke type model than those cartoon characters in the photos?
