THE VINTAGE VILLAGE HOSTS VALENTINE’S SPECIAL: This Sunday, February 13, Stockport’s Victorian Market hall will be hosting a Valentine’s themed vintage fair. There’ll be authentic vintage clothing, accessories and jewellery so it’s a great place to buy last minute Valentine’s gifts before Monday. The affordable market runs every second Sunday of every month from 10am to 4.30pm with traders including Itsa Mistry, Butterflies & Bows and Look at Lily.

BECOME A STYLE ICON ON THE AVENUE: The Avenue is searching for a North West fashionista to have their image on the Spinningfields screen throughout spring. Stylish shoppers are invited to strike a pose next to The Avenue’s giant letter installation next to the Armani store and send the image to theavenue@spinningfields. The winner will also be treated to a VIP gift experience at Nicky Clarke and a VIP night at The Alchemist.

THE TRIANGLE ATTRACT SINGLES THIS VALENTINE’S DAY: The Triangle shopping centre are renaming February 14 ‘Singles Sunday’ in the hope of finding love for the city’s singletons. From 12pm, Key 103’s OJ Borg will be hosting his own version of Blind Date whilst other shoppers can participate in speed dating sessions. There’ll be spot prizes throughout the day and Barefoot Wine will be offering complementary drinks to quench your thirst on your quest for love.

AMANDA WAKELEY FASHION SHOW AT THE MIDLAND HOTEL: The Royal Exchange Theatre will be presenting ‘A Fashionable Evening’ at the Midland Hotel on Saturday March 12. Amanda Wakeley will be showing her Spring/Summer 2011 collection and there’ll be a celebrity auction with some once in a lifetime prizes being offered to raise money for the theatre.
