For two days only, San Carlo on Castle Street will be opening its doors at 8.30am and putting on an extra special breakfast menu. The early opening and luxurious menu will coincide with the Aintree races on Thursday 8, Friday 9 April and Saturday 10 April.
The menu ranges from a classic full English with locally sourced sausages and bacon, to scrambled eggs with caviar and lobster.
Racegoers, or anyone who just fancies a posh, Italian influenced breakfast, can head there for champagne, classic bellinis and breakfast martinis for an indulgent start to the day. An Italian twist will be given to poached eggs served on focaccia with avocado and bacon. Home made breads, exquisite pastries and fresh fruit will accompany the dishes.
