Have you had a bite of the cherry yet?
The Orchard is proving to be something of a star on the Liverpool eating-out scene of late. Liverpool Confidential has just come back from testing an amazing three course dinner. It was a mix of rustic and classic French. It was beautifully executed from start to finish and it was delicious. Cooked and presented avec la verve!
Our critic AA Grill and Angie Sammons, the editor, really did enjoy every element so much - the smoked trout, the guinea fowl, the lemon sole and some wonderful, imaginative vegetarian dishes - that they can't stop telling people.
Now Confidential is letting you in on it.
Last month we brought you exciting news that the chef behind all those great times at L'Alouette, Dave Roberts, was back in action, running The Orchard's kitchen.
We also brought you a very good three course menu, strictly for Liverpool Confidential readers, at just £19.95. Hundreds of you booked the place out for six solid weeks. It brought a tear to our eye.
Could it get better? It just did.
The Orchard is one year old this month and owner Tom Stanley and all want you to raise a glass or two with them. Well, actually, a few more.
In a deal that's bound to get diners across the city talking, The Orchard is offering those three stunning courses (we think they are possibly a country mile better than last time) for the same price of £19.99. But this time there's something else: unlimited wine. Yes, you read it right, unlimited wine. Pretty good stuff too. A juicy, aromatic Navarra white and a rich and succulent tempranillo from the same region of Spain.
Angie says: “Dave continues to show off his expertise and he prepared three excellent and substantial courses.
“Everything on this menu is impressive and it all works, right to the end when a stunning raspberry meringue with crème chantilly, fresh raspberries and a raspberry coulis was whisked up. For better or for worse, we eat out in Liverpool a couple of times a week, and this is an opportunity to see it being done right – at an amazing price.
“In fact we are booking ourselves in again for a treat. We were on mineral water last time.”
This sort of deal sells out within a couple of days so click below to book.
And folks, we know you won't show us up when you raise that glass or two or three, but we do know you will enjoy yourselves. See you there!
The offer is only available if you book through Confidential.
