IF fine wine and food is your thing, take note of this dinner with Domaine Laroche at Abode Chester on Wednesday 19 October.

Gwénaël Laroche will host the event, alongside Bruce Kendrick of Liberty Wines. Diners will be treated to an exceptional seven-course menu prepared by executive chef Stuart Collins.

From the moment you arrive to a glass of Punto Niño Rosé de Pinot Noir and canapés, you can expect something special.

From citrus-cured salmon with a glass of Chablis St Martin, to curried cod cheeks with Chablis Premier Cru Les Vaudevey, and Goosnargh guinea fowl breast with Chablis Grand Cru Les Blanchots, the menu will excite even the most travelled connoisseurs. Have a look at it below.

Image3a You'll enjoy a range of different wine styles from Domaine Laroche. This property epitomises Chablis, and the quality of their wines is impeccable, with all carrying the hallmark of crystalline purity and steely minerality.

The range scales the Chablis ladder from Petit Chablis to Grand Cru. Their ownership of vineyards (which sets them apart from their main competitors) is remarkable; Chablis is a fragmented region, but Domaine Laroche own 100 hectares of vines, including an impressive 30 hectares of Premier Crus and six hectares of Grand Crus.

This fantastic evening is only £65 per person and for Dining Club members and their guests, just £58.50 per person. For those who wish to stay overnight, an accommodation package is available.
