Mal burger a sizzler

PEOPLE, it seems, can't get enough of a good hunk of rump, especially shoved inbetween two halves of a crusty bap.

So it was proved when Malmaison took its Brasserie over to the Wirral Food and Drink Festival at Claremont Farm last weekend. Their stall was the busiest there, with everyone wanting a piece of the Mal and the famous the Mal burger.

Head Chef Adam Townley packed the crowds in on the demonstration tent showcasing the Malmaison reared pork belly.

40,000 people turned up over the two days and the Mal burgers went down a treat with unbelievably huge queues on both days.

Sharon Simons, Business Development Manager said 'It was a fantastic turnout with people from the Wirral, Liverpool, Cheshire and North Wales attending. We couldn't have asked for a better crowd and the response to Malmaison was phenomenal.”

If you missed the chance to join a long queue for a Mal Burger, there's another opportunity next Sunday (Sept 12) when the Brasserie will once again be setting out its stall in Sefton Park at the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival.
