Liverpool Food and Drink Award winners

STAFF at The Ship and Mitre celebrate after scooping the prize for best pub in the annual Liverpool Food and Drink Festival Awards which were revealed last night.

The awards, which were given out at The City of Liverpool College in Roscoe Street, were mostly decided by a free online poll which, as is usual in these things, had seen many of the contenders vigorously campaigning for votes on Facebook and Twitter.
