The Fat One is going on the silver screen.
NEXT Friday is the greatest day in Come Dine With Me history. Gordo, aka Confidential's publisher, Mark Garner, is going to be lighting up your screens with surely the finest demonstration of cooking expertise in Channel 4’s long and protracted excursion around UK kitchens.
He thinks so anyway.
The episode, due to air at 8pm on Friday 12 November, sees the supposedly vegetarian-hating Gordo (we don’t actually think he is) facing a tarot-card-reading veggie, a pub landlord and a self-proclaimed "MILF".
The way, on one occasion, Gordo stared at said MILF was supposed to be "TV gold", according to the producer. Oh dear.
But that’s all the big man revealed of his week of being subjected to the unending demands of lah-lah-land TV folk.
None of us at Confidential even knows if he won.
What we can expect are, apparently, accusations of exclusion and sexism en route to the £1,000 prize, with pets licking desserts, appalling service and a wardrobe full of fetishwear.
The four dinner parties are being shown all in one episode so it’s worth clearing some space in your diary as this could be a classic. Loyal or appalled regular readers of Gordo can also get to see him in his native habitat.
Watch it or record it. We’ll review it. Maybe through our fingers.

Don't usually watch come Dine With Me but won't be missing this one. He can't have won otherwise he'd have been beating his chest and singing it from the rooftops!
I heard it is full of so many expletives, that they have rescheduled it to go out after the 9 o'clock watercress.
I can't wait!
