Wimbledon Village

Come and join us on Murray Mount for tennis, Pimms, strawberries and ice cream...

Published on September 21st 2010.

Wimbledon Village

It’s tennis time. And this year we’re celebrating Wimbledon in the best possible, British way- on Murray Mount with strawberries and cream (and hopefully a touch of sunshine). Game, set, match.

So where is this Tennis haven? As well as providing us with over 140 high street and designer brands reduced by up to 60 per cent RRP, Cheshire Oaks are now giving us a replica Wimbledon.

They’ve teamed up with David Lloyd Leisure, Europe's largest racquet, health and fitness group who are renowned for tennis, with over 350 qualified tennis coaches working in 74 UK clubs and 10 clubs across Europe.

Up until Sunday 4 July you can relax and watch the tennis in style at their very own Murray Mount. On Saturday 26 June a fairly famous duo will perform on centre court at 12, 1 and 2pm.

You’ll also be able to shop for your favourite sponsors of Wimbledon at discounted prices, to really get you into the spirit. Choose from Adidas, Fred Perry, Lacoste, Nike, Links of London and Christy’s. Children up to the age of 12 can play tennis on the mini court and have a go at Wii tennis on the giant screen at weekends.

Accessible to all- it’s an easy drive from Manchester (about 40 minutes) and Liverpool (about 25 minutes). Just turn off at junction 10 of the M53. Cheshire Oaks is open Monday-Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 10am-5pm, with larger shops opening at 11am.
