Valentine's celebrations at Mint Hotel

Mint Hotel has all bases covered this Valentine's weekend with three options for romancing your special somebody.

If you want to keep things simple while still showing that you care, go for the sharing platter and champagne in the hotel's Piccadilly Lounge. It's an assiette of chocolate and two glasses of champagne in an elegantly-styled bar with views over Piccadilly Plaza. It costs £21 (for two people).

If you prefer to make it a full evening's celebration, how about a sumptuous four-course meal in City Café? Vocals from a female singer will add to the enchanting atmosphere and the food is sure to be excellent. The menu is in full below. This meal costs £34.95 per person.

Finally, if you want to really treat someone, why not stay overnight? You and your partner can enjoy the four-course menu either in City Café or in the privacy of your own room. With Sky, luxurious linen, power showers, and White Company toiletries, staying in will be much more tempting than going out. In the morning, you'll be served a fabulous breakfast and you have a late 2pm checkout. There'll also be a box of chocolates in your room to welcome you. This package costs £185 per couple.

Roasted rack and confit shoulder shepherd’s pie, pea puree and turnip fondant

Dill and baby prawn gnocchi, sautéed spinach, shaved fennel and red wine jus

Roast Breast of Guinea Fowl
Peas, leeks and smoked bacon lardons, wilted baby gem

Fricassee of Wild Mushrooms, Artichokes and Roasted Salsify
Spinach and ricotta tortellini, cep foam (v)

Dessert
