A £10 ticket offer and fab fashion tips for summer nights of glamour and gee-gees

Published on June 20th 2010.

Summer Race Evenings at Haydock Park Racecourse

CHESHIRE Oaks Designer outlet has teamed up with Haydock Races to offer this excellent ticket deal for Confidential readers who want a taste of the high life.

The Summer Race Evenings are a fantastic night out for anyone who wants to add a touch of glamour to their weekend. It's a chance to give your best dress an airing (or splash out on a new one – see fashion tips below) and sip champagne as the sun sets over Haydock Races, the home of first-class horse racing.

With this ticket offer, you save £18 on the price of a ticket for the County Enclosure. Rather than the standard price of £28 per ticket, Confidential readers get two tickets for £20.

The County Enclosure is situated directly above the Winning Post, giving you a great view of the lightening-fast finishes.

A ticket for this enclosure provides access to several areas including seated and standing viewing in the stands, Colours Restaurant with its modern bistro-style atmosphere, the new Champagne bar, the Jubilee Suite, and the Centenary Stand Lawn, plus access to the betting ring, the parade ring and winner's enclosure.

The Summer Race Evenings take place on Friday 21 May, Friday 28 May, Friday 2 July, Friday 30 July, and Friday 6 August. Go with friends, family, colleagues or clients.

Haydock Races is easy to get to by car. You'll find it in between Warrington and Wigan at junction 23 of the M6.

If you want to go to a Summer Race Evening for just £10 a ticket, book online at www.haydock-park.co.uk or call 08445 793 006 and quote code: HPCO25C.

T’s & C’s:
There is a limit of 5 pairs of tickets per transaction.
Dress code for the county enclosure is smart/casual. Jeans and track wear are strictly not permitted.
Ticket sales for this offer are limited.

Fashion tips for Summer Race Evenings

Want to look fabulous at the races but aren't sure how to work this summer's looks? Gabrielle Cowley, personal shopper at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, has put together some advice on key trends that will get you noticed for the right reasons.

Writes Gabrielle: 'It’s out with the black and in with the nudes this season as we prepare for the races. The new romance look is working its way back with bundles of ruffles and florals galore. Use this to your advantage to keep the focus on your best assets.

'Another key trend is the strapless, sweatheart neckline which again is ultra feminine and great for the summer. Use this trend to work statement necklaces and be as daring as you like with the length.

'If you already have the dress then really focus on those accessories. Think statement and bold but keep it feminine. Use fascinators as an alternative to hats. There are some fab designs out there. Use jewellery to add interest and colour to liven up a muted dress and even a wrap for those chilly spells.

'The good news about shoes is the heel height is on its way down. So for those of you who cannot stand the thought of towering in five inches all day, opt for a kitten heel to keep it girly but comfy. If, like me, you think the higher the better then don’t fear, platforms are still in for the summer as are wedges and supper strappy sandals.'

If you're still unsure about your perfect outfit, you can book Gabrielle for a free personal shopping session at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outfit. Just email here, call 07548 932 253, or book direct here.
