Getting to the Arena

The Manchester Evening News Arena is located in the city centre, on the corner of Trinity Way, Hunts Bank and Great Ducie Street, and is adjacent to Victoria Station. For Sat Nav systems our postcode is M3 1AR.

By Car: If travelling by car, the Manchester Evening News Arena is situated on the A56, 3 miles from Junction 17 of the M62.

Parking: The official NCP on-site multi-storey car park has a capacity of 900. In addition, approximately 3,500 recognised NCP spaces are within 10 minutes walk. Please beware of unauthorised car parks and street parking. We advise anyone with walking difficulties to arrive as early as possible and use the car parks at the Arena, Shudehill or the Printworks.

Drop Off / Pick Up: Please arrange to drop off and/or pick up away from the Arena as, due to our city-centre location and size of events, road closures and diversions may be in place at the end of an event making it difficult to return to your chosen meeting point.

Public Transport: If you're planning a trip to the MEN Arena - day or night - then you'll find public transport is the best way to travel from all over Greater Manchester and beyond. The Manchester Evening News Arena is one of the easiest places to get to by public transport – buses, trains and trams drop you only minutes away from the entrance.

Buses: Many buses serve Cannon Street and Victoria bus stations and many more stop within easy walking distance in the city centre. If you're staying out late then Nightbus services on Friday and Saturday nights run directly past the Manchester Evening News Arena. Manchester's free city centre Metroshuttle service also links Victoria station with other areas of the centre.

Trams: Manchester's Metrolink system passes right by the Manchester Evening News Arena, stopping at Victoria. Services run from Bury, Altrincham and Manchester Piccadilly rail station, with connections to Eccles.

Trains: Victoria rail station is next door to the Manchester Evening News Arena. Piccadilly rail station is only a short Metrolink ride from Victoria.
