Laugh your way around Liverpool

LOOKING for a great way to get your weekend off to a rib-tickling start?

Liverpool is the undisputed capital of comedy so it’s why not laugh your way around the sights?

Comedy Coach Tour is a very special new sightseeing tour which takes visitors on a fabulous trip around the city, while a stand-up comic provides the patter along the way.

In a fun-filled, hour long trip, guests will be greeted with a glass of Bucks Fizz - or orange juice - at the Spice Lounge restaurant at Albert Dock then it's all aboard as the fun starts.

Once on the coach, you will be taken on a laugh-a-minute tour around the city, complete with comic impressions, tall tales and plenty of wry wit.

You will learn plenty about Liverpool along the way as the tour is co-presented by a Blue Badge Guide. Great for groups, couples and anyone simply wanting to have a taste of this great city with a good laugh thrown in.

Providing the gags will be local comedian, Mark Langley who is well known on Liverpool’s comedy scene. His repertoire includes belly-aching impressions of local personalities, including football stars and The Beatles.

Mark, who has gigged extensively throughout the country, and during his time worked with the likes of Steve Coogan, Jason Manford, and John Bishop, said: “Liverpool is known the world over for its cracking sense of humour and as a city we have probably produced more great comics than anywhere else, from the likes of Ken Dodd to John Bishop. Comedy Coach Tour is one great idea which makes you wonder why it hasn’t been thought of before.”

The tour buses are supplied by Liverpool-based, Maghull Coaches, the company who invested in tourism very early on with Liverpool’s first sightseeing bus, The Liverpool City Explorer. They also supply coaches for the famous Magical Mystery Tour.

CCT does not exclude younger members of the family, it’s a family show, so it's rated PG.

Ticket are £18 with a discount for groups of four, at £65.
