Hot town, summer in the city

So head for The Beach at Liverpool ONE

Hot town, summer in the city

Dear All,

Having an awesome time!

So far this week, we have enjoyed playing volleyball in the soft sand and canoeing down a river.

And when we haven't been clutching perilously onto high ropes in a jungle adventure we've been chilling out by paddling in a clear blue sea.

Volleyball-2012
It was brilliant watching the sun go down with pina coladas at the beach bar last night, visiting the barbecue, and oh how we danced and danced to live music.

If the girls at home could see us now, they'd be so jealous!

Catch you laters :)))

We get around, as the Beach Boys nearly sang, but this summer there's no need o stray far. The ultimate destination for staycationers is right here.

The Beach in Liverpool ONE is back and when the sky turns blue there's no hotter place to head for.

New for 2012, the high ropes adventure course is not for the faint-hearted. We experienced it last weekend and dizzy we will always be.

It takes pride of place on the five acre Chavasse Park right through until September, along with bumper boats and a canoe river ride. Younger kids can enjoy the pony-track ride and the teacups, while the adults can enjoy a cup of something stronger in Coconut Joe's bar.

CJ's, which, naturally, we also experienced, provides evening music and entertainment each weekend and is ideal for a shopping pit-stop and after-work cocktails, selling burgers, hotdogs, crepes and ice cream too.

There's table football and even a giant Connect 4.

The Beach was enormously popular last year among corporate firms too, with evening volleyball tournaments taking place for both amateur and more serious sides, all heading towards a grand final.

Deckchairs, paddling and fun too.

Wish you were here?
