Oliver Sweeney, the British heritage footwear brand for men, has opened its first Manchester store, only the second outside London.
The 53sqm store is located in the The Avenue, Spinningfields – the high-end shopping street that is rapidly filling up with big name stores. Armani, LK Bennett, All Saints, and Nicky Clarke have all opened there in recent weeks, with more stores including DKNY and Mulberry set to open soon.
To celebrate the opening of Oliver Sweeney, the store is giving away a pair of its designer shoes, up to the value of £260, to a Manchester Confidential reader with Hero membership. The winner will also get two tickets to the store's launch party on Thursday 21 October.
Oliver Sweeney has become synonymous with original designs of exacting quality. The handcrafted process, the finest Italian leathers and the originality of each design all lend their part in creating the footwear and accessories range.
The competition prize is a pair of men's shoes but ladies might want to enter too – the shoes will make a very nice Christmas present for some lucky fellow.
