Cheshire Oaks gears up for motor festival

Motoring journalist and ex-Top Gear presenter Quentin Wilson will star at the Cheshire Motor Festival on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June. However, he might find his limelight stolen by other big name celebs from the motoring world – famous cars including Herbie, KITT from Knight Rider, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and DeLorean from Back to the Future will all be appearing.

Held at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, the free festival will include hair-raising tricks and stunts from display driver Russ Swift and professional motorcyclist Dave Coates. Extreme sports fans may prefer to gasp at the exploits of The Animal Tour – a team of professional riders who perform impressive displays on their mountain bikes.

The event promises to include activities for every generation. Helen Williams, one of the organisers, says, "It will be crammed full of fun activities, making it the perfect destination for a special family day out. We held our first Motor Festival last year and it was a great success so we’re expecting even bigger crowds this year.”
