Dundee band The View make their comeback at Manchester Academy 2 on April 11th (£12.50).
Jazzy soul siren Adele, who appears to be surgically attached to the top of one chart or other, plays the Manchester Academy on April 17th(£55). On the same night, the swaggering bluesy rock n’ roll of The Jim Jones Revue visits the Academy (£10).
Hat-based acid jazz survivalists Jamiroquai stop off at the MEN Arena on April 19th (£38), and the day after, Canadian indie-rock band The Dears come to the Ruby Lounge (£11)
He believes he can fly, so maybe R&B superstar R Kelly will be hovering around the Apollo on April 23rd (£35) and fresh from supporting Elbow, Villagers return to Manchester playing Soundcontrol on the April 24th (£11).
The final few days of a packed month sees MOBO award-winning N-Dubz visit the MEN Arena on April 28th (£24); while Birmingham Indie band Jonny Foreigner are at Night & Day(£7.50) and superstar DJ David Guetta is at the O2 Apollo (£25).
