THERE’s only one place in the world where you can buy the latest book by Bill Drummond - and that place is here.

But you might have to be quick. Copies of the ex-KLF man’s limited edition, Q&A volume, 100, are being snapped up at Liverpools independent bookshop, News from Nowhere.

In fact, there are only 100 left.

100 BeforeWhen 100 was a thousandThe store landed a world exclusive to sell copies of the book (only 1,000 were ever printed) for the month of July only.

100 currently graces News from Nowhere’s window in the form of a sculpture, “One Thousand Books #1” and, since the stock arrived in Liverpool on July 4, the pile has dwindled to just 100, thanks to eager collectors and fans of the artist and author.

Drummond once managed Echo and the Bunnymen and The Teardrop Explodes and, more famously burned a million quid as one of The K Foundation

But his books are highly sought after. A copy of his first, From The Shores of Lake Placid, is currently going online for £370.

NFN'S Mandy De Vere commented: "Other online bookshops list the book as unavailable but that won’t fool Bill’s fans who know where to go when they want a good book – up Bold St of course."

Drummond said at the start of all this: “Once all copies of 100 have been sold the sculpture will exist in the thoughts and deeds of the people who read the book.”

The hardback book consisting of Drummond’s illuminating answers to 100 questions from 25 different publications in 2010, costs £15. It can be bought in person from News from Nowhere, where you can sign the special poster (pictured) or through their website here
