THE Charlatans are on their way to Haydock Park as the racecourse's fantastic summer music nights return.
Concerts after evening horse racing have proved as popular as the gee-gees at Haydock Park in summers past, and 2009 is set to be no exception.
Hot Chocolate, Tony Hadley, Atomic Kitten and INXS... they've all played here and Liverpool Confidential has run competitions for most of them.
This year, the Charlatans will be performing after the last horse race (9pm) onSaturday 20 June.
Now approaching the 20th anniversary of their formation, the Northwich jangle-ravers of the early 1990s have scored nine UK top ten albums and are as popular, and as jangly, as ever.
Dickon White, the racecourse's managing director, said: "Haydock Park's Saturday music nights in the summer have become a standing dish in the North West. Tickets can be purchased online at www.haydock-park.co.uk or by telephoning the hotline on 0844 579 3006.
Closing date: Weds June 17, 2009.
This competition has now closed. Congratulations to our winners
