Rita Coolidge, best known for singing that, and for hits like One Fine Day and All Time High (from the James Bond film Octopussy), is in Liverpool for one night, Tuesday June 19.
Coolidge's early career was as a backing vocalist for artists such as Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, and Leon Russell. Known as "The Delta Lady" she inspired Russell to write a song of the same name.
Last seen live in the UK on a tour with Don Williams and Kenny Rogers a year ago, this time the former Mrs Kris Kristofferson is going it alone.
