Kate Rusby is an English folk singer from Barnsley. Actually, she's a very good English folk singer. In fact, she is one of very few folk singers to have been nominated for the coveted Mercury Prize. She reached number 6 in the UK charts in 2006, duetting with Ronan Keating on 'All over again'. It was quite a good song. You won't usually find Kate singing with an ex-members of Boyzone though. No, she's much better than that. Some people say she's revolutionised the folk scene. We say that she has at least reinvigorated it.
Anyway, enough of the waffle. We have two pairs of tickets to give away for Kate's gig at The Phil on 26 March. If you would like to try your hand at winning them, fill in the boxes below.
Closing date: Wednesday 26 March 2008
