A slice of Latin fever hits Liverpool this April as La Linea Festival hits the City. Usually held in London, La Linea is dedicated to contemporary Latin Music. And with funky Brazilian bands taking you back to 1960s Copacabana, you’ll soon be dreaming of warmer climates.
The Ipanemas and Zuco 103 celebrate both classic and modern styles of Brazilian music. Think contemporary Bossa nova grooves mixed with some classic samba. Just don’t look outside and see those April showers.
There’s also a very special concert from Flamenco legend Paco Pena and sitar star Nishat Khan celebrating the emergence of Flamenco music in the 15th century.
