It’s the final month of the Tate Liverpool’s acclaimed exhibition Picasso: Peace and Freedom - and your last chance to get hold of exclusive gifts inspired by Picasso and his politics.
With the help of Manchester based design company Dorothy, the range, which includes a limited edition screen-printed poster, reflects Picasso’s passion for politics in the post-war era. Taking the Paris uprising of 1968 as muse, Dorothy’s range captures the spirit of the movement Picasso worked hard to promote.
In addition to Dorothy’s bold red design, which can be found on badges, mugs, a sketch book and tote bag, there are a number of gifts reflecting Picasso’s peace activism. A beautiful dove book bag (£17.50) carries Picasso’s Dove with Olive Branch from 1961 and his Dove in Flight in Rainbow from 1952 adorns a mug (£7.50).
To get your little piece of Picasso, visit the Tate Liverpool Shop (ground floor, Tate Liverpool), the dedicated Picasso: Peace and Freedom shop on the fourth floor of the gallery or online - www.tate.org.uk. Picasso: Peace and Freedom is at Tate Liverpool until 30 August. Admission £10 (£8 concessions).
We’ve got two red Picasso gift bags which include the 'Give Picasso a Chance' poster plus two complimentary tickets to the exhibition to give away.
