Who cares that it's not real? This travelling wonder at the Trafford Centre will bewitch even the cynics with its spectacular recreation of King Tut's tomb and all the treasures found inside.
It's one of those multi-media type shows that immerse you in the experience – allowing you to get a sense of what it was like to be Howard Carter when he discovered the tomb back in 1922.
Three burial chambers and truck loads of treasures have been painstakingly recreated using sketches, diary notes and photographs made by the archaeologists on that exhibition.
Curios and artefacts include a stunning golden chariot, large golden shrines and the iconic death mask. Expert Egyptologists were the brains behind this exhibition, so although it is all replicas, they're 'authentic replicas', if you known what we mean.
It's the biggest touring exhibition in the world right now, and it's at the Trafford Centre until 27 February – make the most of it while it's here. Ticket details are here.
