'Tutankhamun: His Tomb and His Treasures' is the spectacular travelling exhibition that's recently arrived at the Trafford Centre.
It'll immerse you in the world of ancient Egypt – its funerary cults, gods and mysterious hieroglyphic script. The multi-media experience recreates the moment that the tomb and its treasure-laden burial chambers were discovered by Howard Carter in 1922. There's replicas of thousands of artefacts including chariots, jewellery, cult objects, weapons, shrines, and the iconic death mask.
It's the biggest travelling exhibition in the world at the moment – see it while it's here.
In this competition, you can win two tickets to TUT at Twilight. These exclusive evening events let a select number of visitors experience Tutankhamun in an enchanting atmosphere after normal opening hours.
You'll be welcomed with a mince pie and mulled wine in a hieroglyphic exhibition mug, which is yours to keep. Trained tour guides, all Egyptologists, will answer your questions as you explore the stunning exhibition galleries.
There are two TUT at Twilight events taking place in coming weeks – 9 December and 16 December. They start at 7.30pm and end at 10pm. Booking is necessary. To find out more and buy tickets, click here.
