YOU don't get many concert promoters racing to claim the title of “UK’s biggest indoor winter music festival,” but then they've probably already taken a look at the line-up for Liverpool Music Week and realise what a hard act, or acts, it is to follow.
After an exciting debut last November, Liverpool Music Week is back. Dark nights equals plenty of opportunity to wave your arms about with a cluster of good, big names to get you into the groove.
Kicking things off, on Thursday 30th October at Nation, Wolstenholme Square, is without doubt one of the UK’s most influential live acts: legendary Manchester band The Fall, who released their 27th studio album this year.

As well as being championed by BBC Radio 1’s John Peel from early on in their career, Peel also credited them as his favourite band of all time. The Fall are a band that has stood the test of time and remain as influential today as they ever was.
