As you all know, Liverpool Music Week is fast approaching, with a bevy of big names booked to perform. Madness are bound to be one of the highlights when they play in Liverpool, December 8. The band are still drawing large and increasingly diverse crowds after more than 30 years of wearing baggy trousers. With a back catalogue featuring such hits as House of Fun, Driving In My Car and It Must Be Love, it promises to be one great gig.
Supporting Suggs and co are Isle of Wight band The Bees. Mercury award nominated in 2002, their music will be recognisable to even those unfamiliar with them, appearing in everything from Citroen car commercials to adverts for Sure Deodorant and Sainsbury's.
