See the Beatles Story, for free

THE Beatles Story gift shop has moved into new, larger premises, making it the biggest, specialist retailer of Beatles merchandise in the world – and it won't cost you a cool £24 million to fill your boots in there.

The newly named Fab4Store has opened for business in street level premises with the main entrance situated in Albert Dock's Anchor Courtyard. It has more than three times greater floor space than before.

A quick look around last week revealed some quality looking gear among the socks and fobs and mugs adorned by the mugs of the four. Trendy holdalls among them.

And the place was already chock full of Japanese tourists getting all tooled up in delight while downstairs, a Starbucks has opened with Beatles memorabilia and 1960s style artwork on the walls. the new Starbucks coffeehouse and will employ between 10 and 15 people.

Say the Beatles Story people: “The opening of these two exciting developments is just the first phase of an expansion plan which will see the Beatles Story more than double in size in the coming months.

“New features will include a special exhibition space; 'Going Solo' a new gallery dedicated to the solo careers of John, Paul, George and Ringo and a hands-on interactive Discovery Zone for children and families.

To celebrate all this Beatles joy and Paul's bit of bother coming to an end this week in the Family Courts, we have a family ticket worth £25 to give away today. Just for fun, and this is nothing to do with The Beatles Story, tell us what Beatles souvenir you think Heather Mills would buy. We'll still pick a winner at random though.
