Mmm, the smells of the country

FAVOURITE Days Out in Cheshire is a collective of all the best attractions, events and all the places to visit. There has never been a better time to visit Cheshire’s top attractions for a fantastic, fun-filled day out for all the family.

Cheshire has so much to offer visitors of all ages with superb gardens, the finest zoo and theme parks, fascinating history, the amazing Joddrell Bank, stunning shows as well as fabulous shopping and restaurants.

Cheshire Favourite Days Out has tickets for readers to win four pairs of tickets for The Cheshire Show, one of the highlights of the year. The event that will celebrate all that is great and good about Cheshire on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 22 and 23.More than 80,000 people visited last year and Liverpool Confidential readers now have the chance to join this year’s fun. Ticket winners will benefit from an action-packed two days with guests including Charles Collingwood and Julie Bennett, stars of hit BBC radio soap The Archers, and The Bolddog Lings – a freestyle motocross team who will wow crowds with their extreme stunts.

Attractions also include the culinary delights of the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas, yes, you read that correctly,

while Roberts Bakery Food Hall is the best thing since sliced bread. There's a stunning display from the Gauntlet Birds of Prey, who are being kept well away from the bakery, and hundreds of animals competing for coveted titles.

Keeping the show’s agricultural heritage alive with the wider public is the Agri-Centre – this year sponsored by Sainsbury’s – which exhibits the journey your food takes from plough to plate.

Advanced discounted show tickets are available online NOW and tickets will also be available on the gate (£15 per adult) for both show days. For more information about the show or to purchase tickets, visit www.cheshirecountyshow.org.uk.
