IT'S his first live tour in 10 years. Yes Steve Coogan and his cast of emotionally bereft creations are on the road and coming to Liverpool this very weekend.
Alan Patridge And Other Less Successful Characters can be seen at the Kings Dock Arena this Sunday and Monday (October 12/13).
This tour will be his first live comedy performances in 10 years and it looks like a good'un.
Accompanied by a live band, this show will feature many of Steve’s most famous characters including Tommy Saxondale, Paul and Pauline Calf, Duncan Thicket and of course Alan Partridge.
Who could forget Alan's asides, such as this: “Sometimes I feeling like going out, stealing a traffic cone, putting it on my head and saying, "Look at me, I'm a giant witch!" ? Well there will be plenty of opportunity for him to relive that one in Liverpool.
Now is the time to reacquaint yourself, anyway, by getting down to the Arena and seeing the genius for real. Look out for a full interview with Steve Coogan on Confidential this weekend..
