The tickets are a rare gateway to combine the best in contemporary British art with a fat slice of good old fashioned schmoozing. Amongst work for sale from 380 artists from 80 galleries there’s a whole musical theme with pieces from the likes of John Squire, Edwyn Collins, Ronnie Wood, Ben Kelly and Kevin Cummins.
Speaking of Cummins, we’ve also got two of the latter’s stunning book about this city to give away.
The renowned rock’n’roll photographer has a new volume called Manchester: Looking for the light through the pouring rain. The book looks at the city, its bands, its fashions and its attitude and explores how these factors have shaped popular culture in the city. In short it’s a beautiful tribute to what makes Manchester tick.
